Where is your allegiance – cultural law or Royal law?

Are you living a life style of allegiance and authenticity based on cultural law or Royal law?

Not sure? OK let’s first examine cultural law.

Cultural law is what society tells us is normal and acceptable. It is often calling what we would consider to be “evil” legal and what we would consider to be “good” unlawful.

Another way to think about cultural law is in terms of what the majority says then so goes…like a herd mentality of making an action (regardless of morality) a righteous truth and (often) a legal standard, land privilege/right of society. The cultural law fluctuates depending on the perspective of society.

What is Royal law?

Royal law is based on the absolute, unchanging truth of commands and instruction based upon the Bible, and God-given principles of life living. Often times you will see a contradiction in the cultural law against what the Bible commands and instructs.

This is so easy to see in distinction when we examine it upon current events.

For example, the Bible says that we shouldn’t kill, that we should stand up with a voice for those who cannot speak out and to protect those who cannot stand for themselves.

The cultural law, up until recently, dictated that abortion was not only legal but a right given to women; a right to choose to end life rather than give it.

Do you see where I’m going with this without getting overly political…

Do you see the contradiction in terms?

As individuals we truly need to make a decision upon which law we take allegiance to as we LiveOUTLoud our life.

We must decide to act in measures of a person who will be judged by the law of our choosing… (see that’s free will in action.)

We have a free will choice to act in alliance with the cultural law or the Royal law.

Do not mistake what I am saying to prevent the understanding that I am suggesting going against our legal law system.

The legal system was designed to protect the innocent. And definitely we should respect the authority of the courts and the land. But sometimes the cultural land law and Gods Royal law cannot mix alongside of one another.

In reality, Gods Royal law Is a higher standard measure to the cultural law.

So now having the definition of cultural law versus Royal law, I go back to the original question, “are you living a lifestyle based on confessed allegiance?”

Going further in today’s blog, the motive is to get you to understand your personal position of belief, and then stand behind it 100% and LiveOUTLoud your TRUTH.

My encouragement is for you to understand who you are and what you believe…

At LivingOUTLoud, we believe in life according to Royal law, believing Royal law (of love) brings true freedom, the authentic pathway to peace.

We believe that we are free in Christ and that He alone has fulfilled the law of love and living.

We believe that we must conduct ourselves in a manner which demonstrates a belief system honoring that said law (even though we know we are not perfect and will violate it, we are not judged by its wrath because Jesus took on that judgment for us.)

We believe wholeheartedly that the actions of ourselves are to be demonstrated in a way of honor that proves that we believe the demanded Royal standard.

And again the motivation of today’s blog is for you to examine your allegiance so that you can stand in the standard of your truth through your demonstrated actions.

Our deeds (actions) are a testament to our belief system.

Evidence of allegiance in our belief system is what testifies to the depth of belief that a person has – it’s their faith in the belief.

Faith without works is dead… A belief system without correlating actions is false.

Faith is the beginning of all things and fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. It takes faith (wholehearted belief) in the Lord to begin the process of action forward in Him and His ways.

Faith is the evidence of things not yet seen but known in truth of deed.

Faith and actions work together. Faith is made complete by what we do.

To believe the promise, we must identify the promise then walk out, liveOUTLoud, the actionable step in correlation to that belief regardless of what the circumstances in the moment present as reality – regardless, of what our surrounding culture/society tells us to be true.

I want to encourage you today to really LiveOUTLoud your belief (faith) system.

I want to encourage you to truly examine the desires of your heart to the level of what you unconsciously believe to be your truth.

As you become aware and examine your thoughts, question yourself as to why you believe such to be true.

Gather as much mental evidence as you can to understand why it is you believe the way that you do.

As you come to understanding of your beliefs, you will actionable LiveOUTLoud your allegiance and choices.
