STAND FIRM

We must learn to instead to:

  • STAND FIRM “Be steadfast, immovable always abounding in the work of the Lord” (1 Corinthians 15:58)
  • STOP BLOWING IN THE WIND “…no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind and doctrine, by the trickery of men in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting” (Ephesians 4:14)
  • WALK IN THE FULFILLMENT OF PURPOSE “For we are His workmanship, created in Jesus Christ for good works, which God prepared befpre hand that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10)
  • BE IN CHRIST “that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you be rooted and grounded in love” (Ephesians 4:17)
  • KNOW YOUR TRUTH (John 8:32)
  • SEEK THE KINDOM (Matthew 6:33)
  • GET IN YOUR HAPPY TRAINING FOR KNOWLEDGE, AND UNDERSTANDING OF HIS WILL (Colossians 1:9-14)

HOW DO WE DO THAT?

We seek wisdom above all things so that we can gain His persepective and work from a place of His understanding.

Everything that we have and are, are because of Him and His grace.  Since our needs are met we are commanded to extend that “abundance” to others in need NOT “store up treasures here on earth where the moth and varments will destroy them” (aaaHHHHHH).

Do we do that? Lavish others in our abundance or do we see the abundance as a blessing to self house?

That’s an individual question to answer personally between self and God.

But we are told that we are to liveoutloud further for Him…

We are to seek further and beyond by extending to others the same grace that is lavished upon us.

The gap, which the cross connects, the difference between KNOWING and understanding by DOING in actionable steps of faith.

KNOWING AND UNDERSTANDING WHAT WE ARE TO DO IS MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR A PURPOSE – to serve others.

Serving others is fillowing the commandment to “love others,” remembering and understanding always what LOVE is – GOD is LOVE and like Christ, LOVE DOES!

Christ dwells within our hearts in order to clothe us in His dignity and compassion for others.

It is in His Spirit that the fruits of righteousness are born.

And it is in our actionable steps that we show we believe Him at His Word.

“Faith without works is dead.”

James 2:17

True faith believes in the promise of HOPE.

In our renewed spirit and mind, we begin to naturally produce good works (not in our strength because supernaturally the Spirit within us is producing our heart’s desires.
*** remember at the heart of Christ is now ruler and reigning).

It is Christ’s good works, His “finished works” (completed at the cross), which are now overflowing in our life.
