MAINITAIN YOUR POSITION IN CHRIST. DON’T EMPLOY YOURSELF AS THE HOLY SPIRIT

Yield your own will to Him.

People do not want constraints.  And no one knows this better than our Creator.  He created us not with constraints but with free will.

We therefore need to be ever mindful to the fact that if the Creator does not force His will on us then neither should we force His will on others.

Our goal is to learn to be strong in Him, rooted and grounded in His truth so that we regulate ourselves NOT others.  Remember the Lord CHOSE US, we did not choose Him.  HE WILL USE HIS HOLY SPIRIT IN OTHERS JUST AS HE DID IN US.

Don’t play the role of the Holy Spirit.

Now that we are saved, let us not become prideful into believing that our new work is to be the Holy Spirit.  Our assignment, our position in Christ, is to “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33).  Our directive is to seek God’s will for our lives.

Like the example of the pregnant mother, we are to surrentder our body (the will of lives) to what He desires to create – for His glory.

God is a gentlemen, whatever He orders, He will provide, which includes the way and means by which to achieve it.  “Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?” (Matthew 6:30).

It is NOT our job to fulfill the desire.  It is our job to be a willing vessel for Him.

Pray.  Pray.  Pray without ceasing in everything and give thanks to the Lord (1 Thessalonians 5).

Know His heart to know your heart’s desires.

Ask Him about the desires in your heart.  If it’s against scripture, it’s not Gods will (and that desire springs from the well of the flesh).

But if it’s within the accordance of what the Bible commands, keep praying about the desire – ask Him if it’s HIS desire or one of your own.  If its not His desire, ask God to remove it from your heart.  He will remove a desire if it is not of Him “ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you, for everyone who asks receives and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it -will be opened” (Matthew 7: 7-8).

Trust and Obey His way.

Have faith and trust the process. The same God that got you where you need to be WILL get the next person where he/she needs to be in Him. In confession of faith, keep pressing forward in how Jesus taught us to pray, asking for His will to be done (Matthew 6).
