Get the “HELL” out of here…and let the light shine for Him.
Real peace is based on biblical truth.
There is NO peace without the holiness of Christ. False unity – compromise with evil – does NOT bring about FREEDOM in CHRIST; instead it brings about mockery of His Word. Christ came to earth to fulfill the law (not condemn it) in order to bring true peace (reconciliation) between man and God.
Christ did not come to earth to rise in the ways of the world.
Christ came to earth to fulfill Gods purpose of redemption of mankind. Christ came as a pathway to peace, bringing Heaven to Earth. Through the redemption of Christ’s blood, we have been granted freedom through His peace and now are able to partake in the fellowship and delights of the heavenly realm. In pattern of His example, we are commanded to do the same as we point others to the pathway of peace.
We are peacemakers, not peacekeepers.
Christ challenged the status quo of the worldly ways of man. Christ confronted the Pharisee rhetoric. And Christ died so that we could live in TRUTH. Christ came to close the gap of hostility between God and man. It is Christ himself who is peace “who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility by setting aside in His flesh the law with its commands and regulations” (Ephesians 2:14-15, NIV).
Christ’s purpose was (and IS) to “create in Himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which He put to death their hostility” (Ephesians 2:15-16, NIV).
God purposes in Christ to reconcile the world and humanity to HIM.
In the fullness of God’s LOVE, we are directed to do as Christ did – “make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:3, NIV). Our calling in Christ is to build up Christ in unity of His Spirit. We are commanded to speak the TRUTH in love, live according to the power that He put in us (through His Spirit), and live for His eternal TRUTHS.
Living as light into the dark world, we are to expose the evilness, not shake hands with it.
Further as it commands in verse 16, we are to make the most of every opportunity because the days are evil. Our job as ambassadors for His Heavenly kingdom is to put the light, HIS LIGHT out into the world, to expose the darkness of deception by declaring forth His decrees. As we act in the manner of the authority given to us through Him, we bring Heaven to Earth and make a real way to lasting peace…by getting the Hell out of HIS domain!
Fashion your actions today in forward movement of His kingdom to come…
Liveoutloud in the manner worthy of the calling in Christ by doing on Earth as it is in Heaven – and there ain’t no Hell in Heaven!
